Participants: 12 anesthesiologists, both specialistat and trainees with > 1 year of experience. 6 Nurse anesthetists, anaesthetic technicians and ODAs. 

All nationalities are welcome and encouraged to attend. It is particularly suitable for trainees to attend the course at the same time as their mentor, and for colleagues who usually work together to attend the course at the same time.

Course consists of:

– Preparatory reading of: TAASK Prevent and manage crises in anesthesiology. Ed: Owain Thomas, Kristin Savolainen, 2021. ISBN 978-91-519-9595-3. (Available in course portal after registration, also available for free on Apple Books and Google Play Books, and to order at www.taask.nu .)

– Electronic pretest

– 3 day course mainly consisting of full-scale simulations followed by in depth debriefing of both technical and non-technical aspects.

– Interative posttest at end of course

Course fee

Fee exluding 25% VAT: anesthesiologists 1099 EUR. Nurses: 399 EUR.

Invoicing is after the course, payment by bank transfer or VISA/Mastercard.

Discounts

We encourage departments to send several participants to the same course.
25% discount for nurses/ODAs accompanying a physician from the same clinic.
10% discount for all participants if 2 or more doctors attend the course from the same clinic.
Only one of the above discounts can be applied.
