ESAIC Survey: Limits of laryngeal mask airway in clinical practice

Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to participate in a small survey about your standards in the use of laryngeal mask airways. The use of supraglottic airway devices is part of our everyday work, yet it is amazing how little evidence there is for many aspects of intraoperative ventilation or indications for these devices. This concerns limits on body weight, positioning or duration of use. Therefore, there are many national and regional differences which are shaped rather by attitudes rather than evidence. With this survey we want to get an impression of this heterogeneity. We would therefore be grateful if you could take a few minutes to enter the standards you have established.
