Survey: Anesthetic care practices for infants undergoing surgery for necrotizing enterocolitis

Dear colleague,
A group of anesthesiologists, neonatologists and a pediatric surgeon from the Erasmus MC – Sophia Children’s Hospital has launched a survey to study anesthetic care for infants undergoing surgery for necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). The aim is to describe anesthetic care practices for these patients in neonatal units across Europe.

For this purpose, we have developed an anonymous, web-based questionnaire. We kindly request anesthesiologists working in European hospitals where surgery for NEC is performed, to complete the survey.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and can be accessed with the link or QR-code:
